Welcome to our little paradise! After a whole long day of flying, leave on a journey to Sigiriya. The road from Negombo to Sigiriya will cut across the Matale area. En route, a visit to the Aluvihara Rock Cave Temple should not be missed. So go ahead and get a few blessings there before exploring the historic Nalanda Gedige. From there, you keep making headway to Sigiriya. Once reached, set yourself up at the lodging in Sigiriya to get a little rest as the fatigue from the long journey is dispelled. The evening promises a climb for you up Pidurangala, and hard to beat dinner sets up this most laid-back night at the lodge.
Ready to meet the Sigiriya village boy the very next day. Here, you can ride a bull cart, hop on a tuk-tuk, take a boat ride on the lake, and cook and taste something right from the locals. But do not stop here just yet, for following this, you will be driving on to Kandy. After arriving Kandy, you will wholeheartedly explore the Temple of the Tooth. Later, get placed in a hotel in Kandy and take rest. Would rest in the evening up to the early evening and watch a traditional dance show thereafter. The next would be a guided city tour of Kandy, ending back where you stay upon sunset.
Leave Kandy early the following day, ready to visit the Nuwara Eliya. On the way, visit the botanical garden of Peradeniya. Spend some time there, and start the journey again. On your journey, you’ll also get to view stunning Ramboda Falls. After that, you can go to the Damro Tea Factory in Labookale and see many things, such as how tea is produced, how tea plantations are located, and how tea leaves are plucked. After an enjoyable time, go to your accommodation in Nuwara Eliya, stay there for a while, and visit Gregory Park. So you can spend the evening at Gregory Park and sleep after dinner.
You will visit the Lover's Leap Falls the following day morning. After exploring it, transfer to Nanu-Oya railway station to take the 12.30 train to Ella. After, descending from the Ella and resting at the hotel.
Early in the morning, get ready to climb the Little Adam's Peak before sunrise. Then, explore the New Arch Bridge. This railway line, which was built in the past, is at the top of many tourists' travel lists. After that, you will visit the Ravana Falls and proceed to Tissamaharama.
In the morning, you can go on a half-day safari in Yala National Park. Afterwards, you will be taken to Mirissa to relax and enjoy the beach. There you can visit Coconut Hill and relax on the beach in the evening.
Today is the last day of your tour. The tour has lasted for six days of meeting new personalities and the creation of so many memories. It is time to return home but as courtesy demands, you shall have a liberal goodbye from the driver en route to the airport.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review for Tourstro We first got in touch with Tourstro via Instagram at the beginning of 2025, when our trip was not even fully planned yet. Randunu kindly checked in every few months to see if we needed any help, without ever being pushy. When we finally arrived in Sri Lanka in October, Sayuri contacted me via WhatsApp. I shared our travel ideas with her, and she was incredibly supportive, reassuring us that it would be a great trip. She answered all our questions and only gave advice when we asked for it, never trying to sell us anything. She organised a driver for six days and our trip to Yala National Park, and also offered to help with hotels, even though we had already booked most of them ourselves. Sayuri is extremely friendly, helpful, and always there for her customers. During Cyclone Ditwa at the end of November, my messages couldn’t get through, but as soon as she was available again, she replied, even apologising for the delay — which really wasn’t necessary — and gave us very honest and helpful information about safety, road conditions, and travel options. When I was worried about a possible landslide near our hotel in Kandy, she immediately offered to find us a safer alternative. We felt very well taken care of at all times. Our driver, Nemo, was also excellent — a very kind, safe and knowledgeable driver who showed us so much and made our journey even more enjoyable. We can highly recommend Tourstro and would happily book with them again.
