Itinerary Overview
Join Tourstro and have a wonderful vacation with this short five-day tour. This destination stretches from an elephant orphanage to a UNESCO World Heritage city, and water rafting fun also contributes to the busy tourist life of Colombo city. Even though the number of days is short, that is why the trip is wonderful. This beautiful journey is not just a creation of a few words, but is sure to attract you who want to experience the beautiful experiences hidden here in the same way and live in magical scenes.
A warm welcome from our driver as you land at Bandaranaike International Airport early in the morning after a long flight of many hours. After that, you can drink a hot cup of coffee and go to a nearby hotel to sleep for a while. After a few hours, freshen up and start your journey to Kandy around 9 am or 10 am. On the way to Kandy, you will come across the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Spend time with the elephants there and start your journey back to Kandy. Then, relax for a while at the hotel booked for you in Kandy. Next, time you go to the Temple of the Tooth relic to visit and pray. After, you can spend some time in Kandy city and go to bed after dinner.
The next day, after breakfast, visit the Bahirawakanda Temple. After spending some time there, you can proceed to the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. After that, go to your hotel, relax for a while, and get ready to enjoy a traditional dance show in the evening. After visiting the dance show, you can go to the Kandy Viewpoint. There, you can see the entire city of Kandy from a bird's eye view. After that, have dinner at a nearby restaurant and you can go to bed for the night.
On the third day, you will travel to a region with a different climate. It is Nuwara Eliya. On the way to Nuwara Eliya, you can see Ramboda Falls, Shri Bhakta Hanuman Temple, Damro Tea factory with its Tea Estates, etc. After spending time there, you can relax for a while at your hotel in Nuwara Eliya and take a city tour of Nuwara Eliya in the evening. Before that, you can also spend some time at Gregory Park.
On the fourth day, your first stop is Seethamman Temple in Nuwara Eliya. Spend the morning there and get ready to leave for Colombo. Going from Kandy to Colombo, you will meet Kithulgala on the way. Kitulgala is the most famous area for water rafting. So there you can go rafting and have fun. After a few hours, start your journey again. After a long journey, relax at the accommodation in Colombo. In the evening, you can take a city tour of Colombo. There, you can spend time at places like Gangaramaya Temple, Red Mosque, and Pettah Market. In the evening, you have time to spend the rest of the day at Galle Face Green.
On the last day, your last attraction stop is the Lotus Tower. After that, be ready to leave your Sri Lankan tour. So, Go to the airport with 5 days of beautiful memories and goodbye to your driver.

An Unforgettable Experience in Sri Lanka with Tourstro

Booking with Tourstro was one of the best decisions I made for my trip to Sri Lanka this past January! I was planning fairly last minute and was initially contacted through their Instagram account (srilankadiaries). Candidly I was a bit skeptical at first, especially as a solo female traveler, but I was quickly connected with my tour consultant, Sayuri, and she was able to help put me at ease. Sayuri built a tour exactly to my specifications and was incredibly responsive, flexible, and patient with every change I asked for. She truly went above and beyond to make sure I could see and do as much as possible in the short time I had. I only had five days in Sri Lanka with four full days of activities, and the itinerary she created was absolutely perfect! During the trip, I visited Dambulla, Sigiriya, Kandy, Ella, and even squeezed in a last minute stop to Mirissa Beach. The tour package included a private driver for the entire trip, and I cannot say enough good things about Randunu. He was amazing! He spoke great English, was so kind and thoughtful, and always made sure I was comfortable and happy. The drives between cities were long at times and we were in a new place almost every day, but Randunu made every part of the journey fun and memorable. He would stop along the way for little local experiences I never would have found on my own, like drinking coconut water straight from the coconut, eating rambutan, and trying dessert with honey. Those moments made the trip feel so special. He even made a highlight reel summarizing all my adventures at the end of the trip! From my experience with both Sayuri and Randunu, it is clear that the people at Tourstro truly care about their clients and genuinely want them to have an incredible experience. My trip would absolutely not have been the same without them, and I cannot recommend Tourstro enough to anyone planning a trip to Sri Lanka!!!
