Where to see blue whales?

Blue whales can be seen in Monterey Bay and the Channel Islands in California, Mirissa and Trincomalee in Sri Lanka, Reykjavik in Iceland, Hervey Bay in Australia, etc. But there are seasons when blue whales can be seen in these places. They can be seen in Reykjavik, Iceland, and Monterey Bay from May to October.  They can be seen in Baja California and the Channel Islands from November to April. But in Sri Lanka, they can be seen throughout the year. The gates open for them from November to April in Mirissa and from May to October in Trincomalee.
