Where is the best viewpoint to photograph the Nine Arch Bridge?

The best places for photography are those small cafes that are locally owned and sitting on steep hillsides, looking out over the valley, like the Asanka Cafe. From up there, you can gather the full curved stretch of the bridge without much effort.

If you stand by the tracks, you can get nice low-angle shots, yet the huge size of the arches is best felt when you are above them. For a more dramatic look from under the arch, you can hike down all the way to the lush tea fields at the lowest part of the valley.
