Where is Kandy tea grown?

This Kandy tea is grown in the central hilly region, the heart of Sri Lanka. It grows best at altitudes between 600 and 1,300 meters and in a cool climate. Kandy can be considered one of the oldest regions used to produce this tea, which began during the colonial period.
