When to travel to Sri Lanka?

There are weather and climatic patterns to help justify the best time for a visit to a place, in which Sri Lankan holidays are the same as anywhere, dependent upon location, but as a rule of thumb, there aren't two monsoon effects in the south or western province; November through April happens to be a dry period in many areas of the Wet Zone.
