What plug adapter do I need for Sri Lanka?

Make sure you bring a compatible plug adaptor for charging your electronic gadgets when on your way to Sri Lanka. To be honest, the sockets seen in Sri Lanka are limited to types D and G. And the power supply is rated 230 volts; 50 Hz frequency.  Most of these days' modern gadgets, especially phone chargers, might be okay with this voltage; yet it's important to double-check these specifications first. A universal travel adapter is advisable because you could use various plug types more easily. In most hotels- it needs to be stated especially in popular tourist spots--you could actually find universal outlets; but always better to have your adapter handy, so that there wouldn't be any inconvenience in the middle of your trip.
