What is the weather like in Sri Lanka in July?

During July, as rainfall causes variability, the weather in Sri Lanka starts to change. To be more specific, there are heavy rainfalls along the southwestern, southern, and some western coastal areas of the island; also, the central sector, such as Kandy and Nuwara Eliya, experiences rains throughout this month. On the other hand, the eastern and northeastern coasts like Trincomalee and Arugam Bay suffer from dry weather-more compatible for tourists. So, July is a good month for exploring the northeastern and eastern coasts. However, while temperature levels range from 26o-31o, they make it warm enough to lawn lay and escape far into the nature. Not very severe.
