What is the commercial capital of Sri Lanka?

The biggest city and economic hub of the country is Colombo, also houses the businesses, financial institutions, and government offices. It just does that. Colombo, however, amazes with the juxtaposition of old and new-age elements over attractions such as temples, markets, parks, and the new kid on the block: the Lotus Tower. Briefly, this city was merely overlooked in trade, tourism, and culture; however, it is going to be important to business travelers and vacationers.
