What continent is Sri Lanka on?

Sri Lanka is an island country situated in the Indian Ocean and belongs to the continent of Asia. Geographically and culturally, it also fits in South Asia. Quite a lot of people wrongly think of Sri Lanka as part of India. It is incorrect. It is a separate country from India.
