The Peradeniya Botanical Gardens are open every day of the year for the public, from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

It is crucial to mention that the physical ticket counters close exactly at 5:00 PM, so you cannot enter after that time. But if you are already inside the grounds, most visitors can remain and end their walk, even past 5:00 PM, until the security guards start clearing the gates closer to 5:30 PM.
