Is Pasikuda worth visiting?

Yes, Pasikuda is really worth visiting for its shallow, steady bay and those immaculate white sands, so it often gets listed among the safest swimming beaches in Sri Lanka. It feels like a top spot for people who want luxury seaside time, and also for families who prefer calm, undisturbed water.

Set along the eastern coast, Pasikuda has a shielding reef that lets you walk far into the sea, like hundreds of metres, while the water stays barely near chest height. The better window is in the eastern dry season, from May through September. It may not have the lively surf scene you see in Arugam Bay, but it makes up for it with upscale beach stays and that rare marine quietude.
