How to get to the Dambulla Cave Temple?

You can get to the Dambulla Cave Temple by car. It is approximately 20 kilometres to travel from Sigiriya to the cave temple in Dambulla. If you are coming from Kandy, you will have to travel about 70 km.  This temple is situated directly adjacent to the Kandy-Sigiriya main road, making access even easier.  It is open 7 days a week, and tickets must be purchased at the ticket counter before entering the temple.
