How many waterfalls are in Sri Lanka?
Sri Lanka is a beautiful country renowned for its high level of natural beauty. It is home to over 400 waterfalls. Starting as small streams, they flow peacefully through the forests and grow into tall waterfalls. Bambarakanda Falls, with a height of 263 meters, is Sri Lanka's tallest waterfall. Most of them are located in the central part, and the most famous waterfalls include Ramboda, Lover's Leap, Bomburu, Ravana, Diyaluma, Devon, Laxpana, Aberdeen, and Geradigini Ella, among others. Moreover, many other waterfalls are scattered throughout the mountainous regions. These have wildly succeeded in doubling the beauty of the island.
