Do I need an agency if I already have a local freelance driver?

If you have directly hired a trusted freelance driver, you don’t really need a travel agency to actually finish the journey. A seasoned freelancer can run your daily navigation and suggest restaurants, basically behaving like a small independent mini-agency, even if you never touch any “real” planning service.

But if you rely only on a freelancer, then you take on all the organisational risk. You will need to arrange every hotel yourself, manage your own schedule hiccups, and you will not have the financial safeguards or backup vehicles that a registered company usually supplies when something goes wrong, like a breakdown.
